Pop Quiz From Paul

And today's pop quiz is brought to you by a 4 year old named Paul, who can't seem to stop talking, talking, talking and talking.

Paul: "Mawm, when is Jesus coming?"

Me: "You mean the baby Jesus?" After all, it is the Christmas season - it make sense that someone has told him that the baby Jesus is arriving soon.

Paul: "No Mawm.  The big Jesus.  Not the baby.  When is Jesus coming?"

A nanosecond of confusion in which I attempt to figure out where this is coming from.  So I took the sarcastic route.

Me: "Well, son, there are several theories about the second coming..."

Paul:  "Mawm!  When is Jesus coming?"

Seriously, why?  And then all of a sudden, it occurs to me.

Me: "Uh, Paul? Has Jesus told you anything?"

Paul bursts into peals of laughter and then promptly turned his attention to the school bus in the next lane.

I guess we'll never know.
