I read to Rachel. Of course I did; I had oodles of time with just one kid. But the boys? It gets weaker and weaker.
But I'm proud to report that I finished reading the first Harry Potter book aloud to Andrew.
And I'm even more proud to hear him say that he not only liked it, he liked how it was different than the movie and that there was more information in the book.
Which means he was actually listening through those 341 pages.
That's what charlie gets for her 6th birthday...I can't wait to read it to her. Which means I will like it more than she does. PS I am a teacher who does not read to her kids 20 minutes a day. I read all day long sometimes I just don't want to when I get home.
