I'm speaking generally here, because I think there is a universal truth in what I'm saying, and I believe it applies to both kids and dogs.
When the living room has been cleaned out and vacuumed up and looking pretty good, at least on the ground level, kids and dogs relish in it. They roll around on the ground, stretching out and enjoying the space.
Then, because there is ample room, they drag their current favorite toys there in order to better enjoy the wide open play spaces.
And then it just goes downhill from there.
Average time lapse between turning off the vacuum cleaner and toys reentering the floor zone? 0.025 seconds. Okay, so I didn't time it, but I bet if I did, I wouldn't be far off.
