Thing One and Thing Two

Disclaimer: I am fully aware that Dr. Suess I am not.  Don't judge.

Also, it has been decided that Paul is Thing One because he is three weeks older.  Spencer (from the family of 4 kids across the street and Paul's partner in crime) is Thing Two.

"Oh what fun can we find to do?"

Said Thing One to his pal Thing Two.

"Our brothers and sister can ramp, bike and skate.

And we are too little, we barely rate."

Thing Two shook his head and said to Thing One

"Look up ahead and what do you see?

A fountain of water, that could be fun!"

They splashed and they squealed and didn't bother to think.

But Thing Two and Thing One allowed others to drink.

They looked up from the water and Thing One said with a smile

"I think our mommies are calling for us

But let's ignore them for a while."

And then Thing One and Thing Two climbed up on a bench

And busted a move to a song in their heads.

They laughed out loud and yelled "We're not tired.

We could keep on going, we are still quite wired."

But the mommies said "no way, let's go"

And Thing One and Thing Two did pout

But when they got back home

They both passed right out.
