My camera was taken over by Andy the other day. He made an attempt to do what his big sister does with her friends - the Portrait of Two Friends. Rachel saw this on the camera and sighed a big sister sigh and said "It takes skill to get both people in the picture."
Uh -huh. Which explains why the world consists of approximately 483 million images of Rachel and a friend in this exact pose. The acquisition of said skill takes time and disk space. Hence, the millions of pictures missing part of a friend.
Funny how the kids always get themselves into the photo, and the friend gets chopped out. Funny.
Tell them to use a cell phone camera first. They have a small convex mirror beside the lens for self-portraits. Use that to gauge the distance and position of the lens from you and your friend's face.
ReplyDeleteThen, use the regular digital camera.
