Tales of the Sleepwalker (again)

"Mom!"

He had been asleep for close to two hours.  And now he was standing at my darkened door, hollering my moniker.

"Andrew!  I'm right here, what?"

"Mom!"

"Andrew!  I'm here."  No doubt I sound exasperated.  He walks purposely over to Kevin's side  of the bed and starts jabbering.

"Snake eyes.  Fell out.  Snake eyes, Dad.  Fell out."  There are more words I can't understand (not that I understand much that at that point).

In my best authoritative voice, I order him to come lay down on my floor.  He walks around the bed, not stumbling or anything, and DROPS TO THE FLOOR.

And doesn't move.  Not to grab a pillow, not to adjust his legs, not to rearrange into a comfortable position (is there such a thing on the floor?).  I think that's a sign of the sleep walking state - he's not awake to realize he might be uncomfortable (he did it to Rachel too a few weeks ago - just showed up at her door in the middle of the night asking for me and after she told him to lay down, he just dropped and never moved again).

He doesn't want to hear a thing about it this morning.  As usual, he never remembers.  And for a kid who desires to control the entire planet, it's embarrassing to hear that he does things without his own approval.

Oh by the way, I guess "snake eyes" is from GI Joe.  He's been watching the old cartoons.  And I guess he was on a mission last night...
