Kevin and I took the boys to go see the second Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie today. We got there a little early and just before the previews were going to start, Kevin took Andy to the bathroom.
A few minutes later, Andy comes barreling down the aisle and plops down next to me. I thought I saw Kevin behind him, but I was playing on my phone and didn't think much. Until I turned to tell Kevin something and he wasn't there.
Huh.
Then I heard his voice. From two rows behind.
He had sat down with the wrong family.
And while it couldn't have taken him longer than 30 seconds to figure it out, it certainly wasn't much under 30 seconds either.
I bet that was the LONGEST 30 seconds in that other family's day, wondering who was the creep ignoring the almost empty movie theater to park himself right by their kids.
I'm still giggling.
