So Andrew came up the other day, all excited and asking if our family was from anywhere other than HERE.  I said yes, our ancestors came from other places.  Like Germany, Scotland and Nazareth. 

I thought maybe the Nazareth one would make him nod in appreciation.  But no.

He scrunched up his face and said "so we don't have anyone from Japan?"

No, son.  No Japanese in our family that I know of.  He slunk away in disappointment.

Don't ask me why.  I can't tell you where his brain comes and goes.
