Kristin Became a Fan of

On Facebook, there's all these Fan pages that you can either "like" or "become a fan of" and they range from people to oranges and everything in between.  I steadfastly refuse to "like" or "become a fan of" any of them, although I'm quite tempted by some of them.  Here's a few examples of things Rachel Jeanne Glover became a fan of:

"I used to watch the raindrops on the windshield and pretend they were racing."

"I will carry 20 grocery sacks so I don't have to make a second trip."

"If I lay very still in my bed, the murderer in my house won't notice me."

"You are about as pointless as the white crayon."

"Gatorade."

"That awkward fry in the Sonic tator tots."

"Hey did you ask yet...no, my parents are in a bad mood."

"I can do it perfectly, until I try to show someone."

"I miss Billy Mays yelling at me to buy OxiClean."

"Adding an 'o' to the end of any word as a translation to Spanish."

"Running really fast through a dark room so nothing will kill you."

"Bobby Flay."

"I wonder if kids in China push on their eyes and yell 'I'm American!'"

"You die a little inside when you don't see your school on the bad weather closing list."

"Nicholas Cage makes me want to throw myself off a building."

And the list goes on and on and on...I'll have to find a way to copy them all into the blog someday.  But so far, my absolute favorite one that she joined that made me laugh so hard was:

"I hate when I'm  shirtless in the woods and Abercrombie keeps taking my picture."  It makes me think of all those fashion magazine photos where those buff young people are just lounging around the Amazon.

Anywhoo, what brought this all up was this morning Paul was still asleep at 9:15.  Twelve hours of sleep.  I realize the kid is probably going through a growth spurt combined with long summer action days, but still.  And it made me think of a Facebook Fan page I would totally join:

Kristin Winterrowd became a fan of "that moment you're standing completely still in your kid's room, trying to see if their body is moving and they are breathing but too terrified to actually go over and shake them."
